Story

The public is often told this only affects dangerous criminals. That is not the truth. The greatest suffering is borne by law-abiding men and women—people with jobs, children, and deep roots in their communities—now facing fear, separation, and despair.

At Ezra Org, we act when others look away. Guided by faith, compassion, and an unbreakable commitment to human dignity, we stand with families at the moment their world collapses. We do not hesitate. We do not abandon. We intervene.

Your donation is not symbolic. It becomes immediate action: life-saving legal defense, emergency care, trauma counseling, and vital support when hope feels out of reach. In moments like these, delay costs lives.

This is more than charity. It is moral responsibility. Faith in action. Justice made real.

Open your heart. Stand with Ezra Org. Be a voice for those silenced behind detention walls—today, and for generations to come.

Give now. Protect families. Restore dignity. Help save lives.

This campaign is led personally by a victim of ICE detention. Here is his short story:

My name is “Anonymous” (Name withheld for security reasons. But if anyone would like to personally contact me I am willing to speak to them. At the time of donation you may leave your email address or the phone number and I will try to get contact you as soon as I can. You may also leave comments on the Face Book and TikTok page of the organization sponsoring the fundraiser and I will be able to answer as best as I can).

I have lived in the United States for over 35 years. My family—my wife and our three children (ages 3 to 16)—are all U.S. citizens.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, I became stateless. For more than three decades, I contributed to society through honest, hard work—paying taxes, building strong community ties, and caring for those around me.

Despite this, I was detained by ICE for approximately seven weeks and faced deportation to Ukraine—a country that is not my place of birth, where I do not speak the language or associate with the culture. Deportation would have placed me at risk of being sent directly into the war with Russia.

Thanks to prayer and legal assistance in Federal Court, I was released. However, I am still required to report to ICE periodically, and it remains unknown whether this could happen again.

My family and I endured immense suffering during my detention in what I experienced as an ICE “Concentration Camp”.

Because of this, I decided to raise funds through EzraOrg to help other innocent victims like me.

Many people are influenced by media narratives and government statements claiming that only criminals or undocumented individuals are detained and deported. This is false. I witnessed firsthand that approximately 90% of detainees were awaiting completion of their immigration due process. Many had been issued Social Security numbers and legal work authorization by the government. They worked, paid taxes, built families, and committed no crimes. Some, like me, have immediate family members who are U.S. citizens.

I am willing to affirm these facts under penalty of perjury if necessary. This is the truth—the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help me G-d.
